Lydia Yoder, MGIS

I am a cartographer and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with a love of creating visually compelling maps and practical geospatial tools. I am currently a GIS Analyst with E. Holdings, Inc., a consulting firm that approaches planning and project management by connecting people and places.

I hold a Master's degree in GIS from Penn State (2024) and a BA in Environmental Science from Goshen College (2013). Before stepping into GIS work, I spent a decade working for environmental non-profit organizations where I learned how a thoughtfully-designed map and tidy data can make decision-making easier for organizations and governments.

I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my spouse and my five-year-old twins. My hobbies ebb and flow between biking, gardening, woodworking, playing stringed instruments, reading cli-fi, watching Survivor, reading local gossip on r/Pittsburgh, birding, and many more.
